Ariadne sings Mendelssohn's concert aria "Infelice!" with The New York Orchestra, conducted by Michael Feldman in a benefit for Animal Haven animal shelter.
All are welcome and invited to the 4th annual Animal Haven Benefit Concert, presented by New York Orchestra. Come hear great music and support the cause of animal adoption! The program features the glorious music of FELIX MENDELSSOHN, conducted by Michael Feldman, with soloists Ariadne Greif, soprano, and violinist Una Tone. The rarely-performed Fair Melusina overture and 1834 concert aria Infelice! open the concert, followed by the magnificent Symphony No. 5 "Reformation".
Animal Haven will have volunteers present to speak about animal adoption and answer questions on how to begin the adoption process. A few adoptable animals will be on-hand, as well. Pet owners are encouraged to bring leashed pets to enjoy the performance! Wine reception to follow.
Admission is FREE. Suggested donation $20 at the door. Doors open 7:20pm Concert begins 8:00pm.
